Tuscaloosa

The illustration collection of different cities across Alabama would not be complete without the inclusion of Auburn and Tuscaloosa, beloved homes to Auburn University and The University of Alabama. In this state, it's not about both, but one or the other - you must pick a side. Here is Tuscaloosa, Alabama's fifth largest city and home to Big Al, Denny Chimes and all things houndstooth. Nicknamed the Druid City for its large water oak trees, Tuscaloosa keeps those historic ties alive with its 1911 train depot. Dreamland has been serving up barbecue and white bread in its original location since 1958. The city's recently developed River Walk District and Amphitheater offers beautiful views and tunes along the Warrior River.
