Watercolor mixed-media illustration
To commemorate the 50-year anniversary of the moon landing, I illustrated a travel guide of the moon, highlighting some of the activities you could perform and spots you could visit.
All mostly imagined, of course. Popular moon legends such as the man in the moon, the moon rabbit and the werewolf make an appearance, along with space visitors Laika and flying monkeys.
And robots.
I created a version of this piece for "They Draw and Travel" (TDAT) Out of This World Map Challenge, and it was chosen to be published
in the TDAT book: 100 Illustrated Maps from Outer Space!
